WE OFTEN GET THESE QUESTIONS FROM OUR CUSTOMERS
How to Order ClinT
1 What CLinT Calculators are available?
- CLinT
- CLinT/M
- CLinT/SL
CLinT and CLinT/M are used for the design of CIPP, Fold-and-Form, and Sprayed-on liners (only flexible!), using imperial and metric units respectively. CLinT/SL is designed for grouted slipliners and integrates both imperial and metric units.
2 What are the system requirements?
Microsoft Access 365 (part of an Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscription) is required, and you can use either the 64-bit or 32-bit version. Please note that CLinT software is developed for the 64-bit Access environment, so some features might not perform as well in the 32-bit version. Older versions of Access (2019 and 2016) are compatible, but minor formatting issues may occur.
3 How can I get access to CLinT calculators?
CLinT Calculators are subscription-based. Individuals or companies can purchase annual licenses that include one or multiple seats. Each seat is granting one user access to one ClinT calculator on one computer (single seat).
The subscription includes software maintenance, updates, and technical support for ensuring successful file download, program operation, and anwering questions about CLinT functionality throughout the subscription period.
4 How does licensing work?
CLinT Calculators are standalone files that you can download directly to your computer. Once your order is complete, you will receive a download link via email.
An authorization key (AKey) is required to run the program. The first AKey is issued during software registration. The AKey has a limited duration and is automatically reissued as long as the license remains active.
5 What steps do I follow to start using CLinT?
- Request a quote by emailing info@clintcalculator.com or jpsimicevic@gmail.com.
- Complete the order.
- Download the file to your computer.
- Open the file and start the license registration.
- Wait for your AKey to be sent.
- Enter the AKey into CLinT and begin using the software.
6 How long does it take to set up CLinT?
It doesn’t take long at all! Completing the order is what really takes time, and if there is urgency this can be completed in one day if choosing credit card payment.
7 Can I get a demo before purchasing?
Yes. Please contact JPS Consulting to schedule a demo, which is conducted via Zoom. The demo typically lasts around one hour and covers the software’s capabilities.
8 What is the cost?
CLinT licenses are billed annually. Users typically receive a standard rate for the first seat, with discounts for additional seats based on total purchases, including user and program counts. Manufacturers and large installers pay a slightly higher rate with a minimum purchase of two seats. The cost for adding users or calculators to an active license later is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Note: Use tax will be added in states where it is mandatory.
9 What are the payment options?
You have several ways to make a payment:
1. Direct deposit to our bank account.
2. Mail a check.
3. Pay via credit card (please note, a 2.3% processing fee applies for credit card transactions).
Choose the option that best suits your needs.
10 Does a license include technical support?
Yes. The subscription includes getting help with setting up the software (if there is any issue with downloading and opening the program on the user’s computer for the first time) and later providing assistance should any issue come up preventing the user from running the software. It also includes answering questions about the software functionality if there are any.
11 How long has CLinT been in use?
CLinT Calculator licenses have been available to businesses in the U.S., Canada, and other countries since January 2022.
