CLinT (Closefit Liner Thickness) Calculator
Effortlessly Design Your CIPP or Other Flexible Closefit Liners
in Gravity Sewers and Culverts with MOP 145 Method
Suitable for:
- CIPP Design
- Fold-and-Form Design
- Sprayed-on Liner Design
- Grouted Slipliner Design
Why Choose CLinT?
- Versatile Design Capabilities: CLinT is ideal for designing liners in both circular and non-circular pipes, either curved around the perimeter or with flat sections.
- User-Friendly Interface: Enter your parameters and click CALCULATE— CLinT handles the rest with its automatic calculations.
- Based on Leading Design Method: Utilizes ASCE MOP 145 design method (based on the French 3R2014 design method) for accurate and reliable results.

2024 Trenchless Technology Rehabilitation Project of the Year
Trenchless Technology Magazine, October 2024
This Harrisburg PA project required innovative thinking, specialized expertise, and exceptional precision to rehabilitate critical infrastructure for long-term durability well into the next century. It marked the first use of the ASCE MOP 145 design method on a project of this size, scale and complexity. The project design relied on a range of advanced tools—including CLinT software—to meet the challenge.
GRP Box Sewer Rehabilitation During the COVID Pandemic
Trenchless Technology Magazine, July 2022
This large rectangular sewer in Toronto (8 ft by 10 ft) presented significant challenges. Between tendering and construction, the publication of ASCE MOP 145 provided an opportunity to reverse engineer the liner design and specify a minimum 1 MPa (145 psi) strength grout. While not mentioned in this article, the design team utilized CLinT/SL software to apply the MOP 145 method effectively.
New Software Simplifies, Facilitates Use of ASCE MOP 145 for Close-Fit Liners
Underground Construction Magazine, April 2022
This article is the first announcement of CLinT software, released earlier that year, highlighting its ability to streamline the application of ASCE MOP 145 in close-fit liner design.
